What is a lacquered finish?
A wooden floor with a lacquered finish is one to which a coating made from polyurethane has been applied to its surface. The material forms a tough coating that covers every pore in the wood and protects it from dirt and moisture. Depending on the volume of traffic over the wooden floor, lacquer can make it last between one to 6 years.
