Which flooring works best with underfloor heating?
Not every flooring can be fitted in a space with underfloor heating, because the heating design is made in such a way that it is in close contact with the floor. Solid wood and natural carpets are examples of floor types that absolutely should not be laid over underfloor heating. Engineered, laminate and luxury vinyl tiles are flooring types with high resistance to dramatic changes in temperature. We recommend consulting the product manufacturer to double check before using a flooring on underfloor heating. A good tip to remember is that flooring should not be exposed to temperatures higher than 27 degrees Celsius.
